PH HYDRAULIC DYNAMOMETERS

The PH range of diesel dynamometers are designed for testing engines up to 9000 BHP. The units are floor mounted and are servo controlled providing high accuracy, repeatability and speed closed loop response. The PH range is particularly suitable for research and development application and can be intergrated where computer automation needed.

The high torque capability of diesel engines now produced make this an ideal unit for consideration.

Speed is measured by a pulse sensor mounted adjasent to a 60 tooth wheel while torque is measured by a high accuracy strain gauge load cell mounted between the trunnion bearings, supported casings and bedplate.

In addition to the servo controller, additional performance channels can be monitored by intergrating the Piper P9, P10, P11, P12, P15, P15EDA or P15EDAC instrumentation. These instruments are available with computer interface and Piper display software.
